BOSS vs EOS One

EOS One is the official software from EOS Worldwide. BOSS is an independent tool that runs the same kind of rhythm and fills the scorecard from the systems you already use.

Checked against EOS One's public website and help center on October 29, 2026.

The short answer: choose EOS One if you want the official EOS software, a free first seat, a phone app and your EOS Implementer inside the account. Choose BOSS if you want daily huddles, a note-taker that joins Teams, Zoom or Google Meet, and scorecard numbers filled in from QuickBooks Online or Desktop and from Autotask, ConnectWise, HaloPSA or Kaseya BMS, with the freedom to use your own terms.

Where they differ

Numbers on the scorecard

EOS One does not list any scorecard data connections, Zapier or a public API, so numbers are entered by hand. BOSS fills weekly income, cash in bank and money owed from QuickBooks Online or Desktop, and ticket numbers from four PSAs, which matters most for MSPs.

Meeting notes

Both turn a meeting into notes. EOS One records from the browser of the person who starts it. BOSS can do the same from a laptop in the room, bring in a Teams transcript, or send a note-taker into the call so remote people are captured too.

Huddles and terms

BOSS has a daily huddle board for each team and lets you rename every term and meeting part. EOS One is built for the EOS words exactly as taught.

Where EOS One is ahead

It is the official EOS software, your Implementer can be added to the account, the first seat is free, and it has phone apps and an AI assistant that can change your data directly. BOSS has no app store app yet.

Which to pick

Pick EOS One if

  • You want the official EOS software and the EOS words exactly as taught
  • Your EOS Implementer will work inside the tool with you
  • A phone app matters more than connected numbers

Pick BOSS if

  • Your scorecard numbers live in QuickBooks or a PSA and you are tired of typing them
  • You run daily huddles as well as the weekly meeting
  • Remote people join by Teams, Zoom or Meet and you want notes from the call
  • You want recaps, to-dos and numbers posted to Teams or Slack
  • Your team uses its own words, or a blend of methods
